Ohana

A tribute to unity, roots, and belonging.

In Hawaiian culture, ʻOhana stands for family, a concept we truly felt during our visit to the Wildlife Fund Hawai‘i. There, we experienced how profoundly the people of Maui honor their relationship with the land, the ocean, and the native life that surrounds them.

One symbol emerged as especially meaningful to us: the Honu, the Hawaiian green sea turtle. Revered as a guardian of wisdom, endurance, and serenity, it embodies the quiet strength of nature.

To translate this spirit into design, we partnered with renowned German artist Marco Wagner. His interpretation captures the turtle’s calm power and gentle movement, set within richly textured green grasses rendered in relief. The shell is embellished with the artist’s signature miniature motifs, inviting a closer look and a deeper connection.

May this small Honu accompany you as a symbol of protection, resilience, and home, a reminder of nature’s grace and the bonds that ground us.
